I completed a product design programme with the Prince’s Trust and Marvel all about product design, we were tasked with creating print on demand product concepts for apparel, wall art and a phone accessory, for this project I was given the Black Panther character and worked with the trend setters group.

Comp Shop
To start we complied market research by doing a comp shop, we went to stores like END, Heaven, Palace, Stüssy and the Rolling Stones store to see what’s in trend for high end fashion, in my finding I found that a lot of brands are currently using a flat graphical style, bright saturated colours, textures, heraldry design and typography.
Mood Boards
After the comp shop, I created mood boards inspired by my comp shop research, I also looked at Blackletter type and African art and crests for inspiration.
I pulled a colour pallet from the second mood board and used it for the final product concepts.
Logos
I then explored how the concepts for a Black Panther logo and Marvel logo, it’s here where I developed the sharp and graphical style that would shape the product line stylisation.
Concepts
Using Illustrator and the assets provided by the Disney team I created the concepts for the products, I chose three products zip-up hoodies, wall art and phone pop sockets to design for.
I took into consideration things like zip on the hoodie when designing, and I made sure my designs worked within the limitations of print on demand manufacturing, only designing on the printable area

Marvel Logo Poster
For the Marvel logo poster, each Marvel logo variation was designed by a young person of the Prince's Trust and put together in this piece by the Disney team.
Here’s some nice shots of me with the products.
