My friend James is starting his career as a boxing trainer, with boxing being is a competitive sport I wanted to show that in his branding.
I handmade the JStar wordmark in Illustrator and used Achtung! Polizei as the secondary type, the logo is blocky and sharp to show the competitive edge and strength he has, I replaced the A with a star as I felt complimented the sharp design of the other characters in the wordmark whilst still being readable as an A.
We all need a bit of motivation.
A huge inspiration for James is Muhammad Ali and so I took one of his many famous quotes and created this motivational card to inspire James' trainees.
To support the wordmark I created an JStar icon and social icons in the same style of the wordmark branding.
